Der Verein

Der Kamerun Kulturverein e.V. ist ein gemeinnütziger Verein. Er engagiert sich für soziale Projekte in der Region Neckaralb und Afrika. Die Projekte beinhalten in der Hauptsache neben Aktionen zur Kulturpflege / Wechselwirkung mit der deutschen Kultur, auch die Integrationshilfe für Menschen mit afrikanischem Hintergrund in die deutsche Gesellschaft. In Afrika unterstützt der Verein bereits Bildungs- und Projekte des Gesundheitswesens, in Vorbereitung befinden sich Projekte in den Bereichen der Mikrofinanzierung von Klein- und Kleinstunternehmer in Afrika.

Der Verein ist weder konfessionell noch parteipolitisch gebunden.

Projekt Ziele des „Kamerun Kulturvereins“ e.V. Reutlingen 2011:

  • Information und Kulturnetzwerke – deutsch/afrikanische Kultur
  • Integration von Afrikanern in der deutschen Gesellschaft
  • Bildungszentrum für Kinder mit afrikanische Hintergrund
  • Afrikanisch Kommunen und Entwicklungsarbeit
  • Benefiz Konzerte für das Afrika Festival Projekt

Vision

Challenge Africa will represent the largest international African cultural & Sports festival, attracting not less than 30.000 visitors from all over Europe to Tubingen by 2015.

Mission: 

Our mission is to market and promote the culture & values of Africa in Germany thereby fostering an intercultural exchange, Integration, cross cultural learning.

Goals:

To bring all Africans residing in Germany, Europe and the world together with the objective to celebrate our culture, difference, color and humanity.

Empowering Africans with a cross-cultural training about the German society and people, vice-versa thereby easing communications through knowledge

Networking between Germans and Africans in terms of Business, Sports & Events as well as enjoy

There should be increased awareness on the issue of integration, struggle against negative publicity on Africans and a closer link and positive contribution to their host communities.

Networking with all African Embassies & NGOs, and act as a bridge between them and Diaspora

To build international awareness on African heritage, history and to promote the importance of tourism as a source of economic benefit to Africa in the third year.

To create partnership the media in other to maximize the coverage of the Africa festivals projects, so as to cleanse the African image in Germany and creating a sense of pride and dignity for the African

Challenge Africa will be added to the portfolio of international companies promoting tourism

The community of Baden-Württemberg and Tubingen will benefit from this festival as programs will be destined to attract nonresidents into the town of Tubingen and international visitors to Germany

To provide a branding package sponsorship for participants

Quantitative objectives

To attract a minimum of 20.000 visitors from Tubingen alone

At least 5.000 visitors will be those that have attended the previous festivals before.

To generate not less than 5% profit for local charity projects and projects in Africa.

To generate a profit of not less than 6,000 to liquidate the 2010 debts

To increase the number of exhibitors and trade stands by 10% each year.
